Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)
The Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) is for an entry-level Cisco technician who can install, maintain and troubleshoot a small Cisco network.
With CCENT certification training at New Horizons Toronto, the student will learn:
- Building a simple network
- Ethernet LANs
- Wireless LANs
- Wide area networks (WAN)
- Networking and router basics.

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Take the next step in your Cisco career by earning one or more CCNA certifications depending on your Cisco specialty areas.
Step One – Earn Your Cisco CCNA
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification demonstrates your knowledge to deploy, maintain, secure and operate a medium-sized network using Cisco technologies. The Cisco CCNA is a prerequisite for the below specialist certifications.
To earn your CCNA you can either take a single exam or two exams.

Cisco CCNA Security
A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security certification proves your skill in securing Cisco networks and implementing IOS firewalls.
Prerequisite: CCNA or CCIE
Cisco CCNA Voice
Cisco CCNA Voice certification is an associate level Cisco certification which demonstrates core Cisco switching and routing knowledge with an emphasis in Cisco Voice technologies.
Prerequisite: CCNA or CCIE
Cisco CCNA Wireless
Cisco CCNA Wireless certification is an associate level Cisco certification which demonstrates core switching and routing knowledge with a specialty in wireless networking.
Prerequisite: CCNA or CCIE
Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA)
The Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification is for associate level Cisco network designers and architects.
Prerequisite: CCNA knowledge and SWITCH knowledge
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
After achieving your CCNA certification you are ready to take the next step and earn your CCNP in one or more specialty areas, including Routing & Switching, Design, Security, Wireless or Voice.

The Cisco CCNP certification is ideal for Cisco professionals who specialize in Cisco routing and switching technologies.

Cisco CCNP Security
The Cisco CCNP Security certification program is for Cisco engineers responsible for Security in Routers, Switches, Networking devices and appliances, as well as choosing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting Firewalls, VPNS, and IDS/IPS solutions for their networking environments.
Prerequisite: CCNA Security or CCIE
Cisco CCNP Voice
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Voice is a professional level certification for Cisco engineers that work with large networks and specialize in Cisco Unified Communications.
Prerequisites: CCNA Voice or CCIE
Cisco Learning Credits (CLC)
The Cisco Learning Credits Program provides a simple, convenient way for Cisco customers to purchase authorized Cisco training in the form of electronic credits, that are redeemable at authorized Cisco training centers, including New Horizons Toronto.
Cisco Learning Credits are purchased with a hardware, software or services order, or they may be purchased as a stand-alone item. They are sold in packs of 10, 100, 500 and 1500 and each credit is redeemable for $100 towards the cost of an authorized Cisco training course.
